To Love God Above All Things

Words: Venerable Suzanne Aubert, adapted by Robert Loretz
Music: Robert Loretz
The chorus of the this hymn can be used as a stand alone hymn. The words are adapted from Venerable Mother Aubert, and combine her embracing of the dual commandment of love with her missionary zeal. The verses evoke key elements of her life, including her link to St. John Vianney, her spiritual director, and her fidelity to her mission across the other side of the world, especially dedicated to the Maori. The verses could be included on the Sunday that is dedicated to her memory once a year in New Zealand.
