Te Deum

Words: Adapted from the Te Deum by Robert Loretz
Music: Traditional Gregorian Hymn Tune and original chorus (Robert Loretz)
This lilting tune in the dorian mode has a triumphal feel that gives the words of the Te Deum a declamatory feel suited to its triumphal mood of praise. The whole of the Church in heaven and on earth, especially the apostles, martyrs, prophets and angels, is summoned to sing the worship and acclaim the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, source our being and salvation, and our final end and happiness.
